The chicken Alfredo is my new favorite, I love the pasta shape they use. The pizza crusts are what makes all of their pizzas great. The parm fries are always a must for my boyfriend - they are so crispy yet fluffy. I do think the garlic flavor could be intensified. Service is okay, I haven't met any spectacular service yet. The space is great for dates, birthdays, and other occasions but you can also just come for a casual lunch or dinner.

Great food, cute restaurant. I've been here a few times, bot for lunch and dinner. Great food, good atmosphere, good service. I love how they occasionally have new menu items! Keeps me coming back to try new things, and continue ordering my OG favorites.

I will always always come back for the spicy miso carbonara!!! It's a must try! It does have strong flavor but is a bit heavy, so do be prepared to have a food coma afterwards. I remember they used to have a Thai curry pizza which I thought was really good but it seems they no longer have that on the menu. The seafood poke pizza is a good alternative to order but I wouldn't recommend the smoked salmon pizza because it's basically a bagel in pizza form (unless you really want that). Don't miss out on ordering the truffle cheese bread, it's a simple but yummy dish that's good as a starter.

If ever there is a KING of Little Saigon, that would be Mr Viet Nguyen, CEO of Kei Concepts. I went to Linkedin to find out more about this amazing young man but unfortunately there was no bio. He is the G.O.A.T, I met him on the opening month of GEM Dining, I love the food so I asked to meet the chef, he happened to be there and I was surprised he came to our table and I had a picture taken with him. I asked where he learned to cook this phenomenal cuisine, I expected to hear maybe "cordon bleu" culinary school and he probably did have formal training but was too modest to tell me, It would be a miracle he dreamed up all this by himself, this reminded me of the IMAGINARIUM cuisine on Royal Caribbean the Symphony of the Seas ship, it was 7th heaven wonderful. He said he used to work for Gordon Ramsey, I assumed in Las Vegas, the cruise ships paid a fortune to use his recipes. So this is the background of Kei Concepts, he now owned 10 restaurants, 4 in the Fountain valley strip mall and soon a DIM Sum house! Whoa! I can't wait since Furiwa went out of business there is no good alternative. Lunesta had a banner to open one on Warner ave but the deal probably collapsed and the building is now abandoned. INI ristorante took a long time to renovate, changing the old Burger King into this beautiful restaurant. I tried twice to get a table but the wait was just too long and gave up, I took 2 items home, the pizza was somewhat weird with truffle oil, I know it's Asian Italian fusion but that's me, I did come back last week and had a normal pizza w pepperoni and at a happy hour price of $10, that was awesome, it was crunchy & piping hot, the fire was huge in the oven but unlike in Italy, it's not cooked w wood which would bring the grilled oak flavor to the dough. I was in Italy recently 15 days, all over Italy eating pizza every single day!! I had seafood mafaldine pasta once, mafaldine is a gorgeous ribbon-like dried pasta with curly edges similar to those on a sheet of lasagna, unfortunately if I remember correctly it was made very creamy like the Alfredo sauce and I'm not a fan of creamy pasta but I'm sure most people would like this. Back to the happy hour menu, we had the fried calamari, it was so crunchy, so good but it came w a tomato sauce, I asked for aioli and was told it would cost $2, most restaurants give this w 2 sauces, the 2nd one is tartar sauce but it was Ok $2 it was really tasty. The happy hour veal bolognese was a generous portion for $10, a lot of meat but where was the pomodoro? It was too dry, I took it home and made my own bolognese sauce to finish it. It was a great idea to have a happy hour from 2 to 5pm as it would bring people who normally would not go there or myself who hated to wait around, I just found out they took reservation so I keep this in mind. We had a fabulous time dining during this happy hour time when it was not so crowded so we could feel relaxed. Mr Viet trained the crew well, everybody was polite and service was prompt if you can tolerate 1 hour wait!!! The only complain was the drink, it was weird, red color some artificial color they told me it was grapefruit, it was not good and at $10 was overpriced, I should have sent it back as I could not drink it, I should have asked for a Coke but I was so busy taking pictures, I did not think about this. The few minor things I described fully don't hurt the fact this is a fine dining restaurant and in a perfect world, INI would be 5 stars just not today!! I'll BE BAAACK!! I'll post this on all my social media accounts 12,000 followers I have not been on You tube for years so not sure how many more followers I have. All Vietnamese must be proud of your success, imagine that! the VN IRON CHEF coming to your cable someday!
